This year Spring came early. A combination of unseasonable weather and a blossoming real estate market, cut winter short.  Now that Spring is officially here it’s time to look around the neighborhood and see what’s going on.
The real estate market has been seeing great success in the majority of the DC metro area including Bethesda. It is not uncommon that we are seeing multiple offers this spring. There has also been a modest increase in prices. One reason for this is lower inventory, as this Washington Post article points out.
Looking beyond real estate the neighborhood has been booming as well. Have you tried one of the newer restaurants in the area? Cava Mezze Grill is one of our favorite quick service stops. It’s fresh, healthy and delicious Greek food.  American Tap Room is continuously opening new locations in the area. It’s a great place to unwind after work and enjoy some delicious food.
Another option for fresh delicious food is one of the local Farmer’s Markets. You can find a list of the markets in Montgomery County by clicking on this link. If you are looking for other activities going on around town this spring you can check out the Bethesda.org events calendar. It stays up to date with a wide range of options to keep you busy.
Share with us your favorite neighborhood hangouts and activities. We always like trying new things.
